NexJen is a cybersecurity consultancy that partners with organisations to assess their cybersecurity program and then implement a strategy and governance framework to ensure their cybersecurity program is appropriate for the needs of the organisation. Through this assessment, organisations gain insights into their vulnerabilities and how to reduce or eliminate them. This process leads to improved cyber defences and resiliency, ultimately minimising the likelihood of a cybersecurity incident impacting an organisation's future success.
At NexJen, we help clients to:
1) Understand whether their cybersecurity program aligns with and supports their business objectives, using standard and bespoke cybersecurity assessment tools
2) Identify critical cyber-risks and exploitable vulnerabilities
3) Develop strategy, governance and risk management programs that are appropriate for their risk tolerance
4) Plan and prioritise effective mitigation strategies for critical risks
5) Understand whether they have the appropriate cybersecurity technology installed and optimally configured
At NexJen, we use both industry standard cybersecurity frameworks and custom assessment methodologies that have been refined and validated over 15 years of real-world experience. As every organisation is unique in its cybersecurity maturity level each assessment is tailored to the expected maturity level of the organisation. This ensures that the appropriate assessment depth and breadth is performed for each organisation. NexJen works closely with customers to agree on the maturity level prior to starting the assessment. Most clients will start with a level 1 assessment, to set a benchmark. Once the recommendations from the level 1 assessment have been implemented, higher levels of assessments are then conducted on an annual basis.
NexJen can also perform cybersecurity assessments on areas of your business that are critical to your operations. For example, ensuring the vendors you work with have appropriate levels of security in place when handling your sensitive data, your intellectual property or when they are considered a critical part of your supply chain
Interviews with key personal and stakeholders. These can be done onsite or via VC facilities
NexJen will review all cybersecurity related documentation, like strategy, policy and process documents to ensure they are fit for purpose and contain all necessary details
NexJen will provide a cybersecurity maturity score, and supporting evidence for the score, related to the framework used to assess the organisation. NexJen will also provide findings and recommendations
